Ages 4–7 football development

This first football stage is built for children who are beginning to find their feet in the game. Coaches use playful, structured activities to develop movement, coordination and confidence while children learn to listen, share the ball and enjoy being active with others.

Ready for the first session

Bring football boots or trainers, shin pads, comfortable sportswear and a water bottle. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.

What age is this football group for?

The programme is for children aged 4–7. The coaching and activities are adapted for early learners.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place at Fowlers Park in Wolverhampton. Use the directions link on this page or contact the academy before attending.

What should my child bring?

Bring football boots or trainers, shin pads, comfortable sportswear and a water bottle. Parents are welcome to stay and watch.

Does my child need football experience?

No. The session is designed as a positive first step, with coaches helping new players settle in and take part at their own pace.
